Natalie Emmons

Dr. Natalie Emmons grew up right here in Albuquerque. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences with minors in American Sign Language and Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Oklahoma in 2022. She completed her externship year at a small neurotology clinic and in a large, busy ENT practice in Texas. Dr. Emmons is a member of the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

In middle school, Dr. Emmons had the opportunity to spend time with someone in the Deaf community; this encounter made her want to be a sign language interpreter. With the encouragement of family, she ended up exploring the fields of speech-language pathology and audiology. While Dr. Emmons did learn sign language, it did not take her long to figure out that audiology was the field for her.

Dr. Emmons enjoys building relationships with her patients and getting to see the impact that improving communication has on a person’s life. Outside of work she enjoys reading, roller skating, attending hot yoga, and spending time with her family.
